Andromeda Cologne Spray
In the late 70's and early 1980's there was a men's cologn called Andromeda and was sold at Halmark Card Stores. It was purchased at the mall in McAllen, Texas. I would like to know if it is still being made.
It was made by a company in California. I have often looked for it and cannot find it. Let me know. |

I've been using the last few ounces I have very sparingly,for special occasions only, the last 30 years. Loved the flask it came in with that beautiful brown suede box.
It was also sold at Neiman Marcus, Bergdorf Goodman and a specialty store on 2nd Ave, and 54th St. In NYC.
Never knew it was at Hallmark. |

You were also able to buy it at Accents and Images
In Mahattan,not sure if they are in business still but

I thougth the last one I got was from Minn. Brown suede box and long neck apothecary type vase. |

| I also have a bottle that I purchased at Hallmark here in Bakersfield ca about 30 years ago. If anyone knows how to get a replacement please let us all know. I've even toyed with the idea of somehow having it duplicated by a chemist or perfume designer. |

| On a lark I found this thread. So, my story is a woman I dated in So. California loved it for herself. She bought it at Neiman Marcus. I actually tracked down the manufacturer and almost bought the formula. At the time I didn't have the money. Ever since I have been trying to find the notes to re-attempt buying it. If I succeed I know where to find you, all and will for sure let you know. It was unusual and one of a kind scent! |

| I purchased this cologne in the 70's in a specialty shop in Madison, Wisconsin. It also had a soap to go with it. If anyone can replicate this cologne I would be interested in purchasing it. |

Sharon, May I ask the obvious, is the shop still in business? Likely not. Do you, have any of the original packaging? I did not know there was a soap. Was it a quality soap?

It was called Andromeda Theory 7 cleansing/glycerine bar.

I don't know if the specialty shop is still there, because I can't remember the name and I moved from there to Texas in the mid 70's. The soap is a reputable soap and it was good. It had the same fragrance, but of course, since it was a soap there was the glycerine scent that accompanied it. I would like to attach a picture of it, because I still have one unused that my mother placed in her dresser for the scent. But, I don't know how on this website. |
