Did anyone find that perfume for you? My girlfriend is trying to get me to locate for her and would make nice surprise but I've searched high and low and not been able to locate a bottle. Any help would be gratefully received.

Re: Blue De France Perfume By Bernard Lalande
Actually, it's spelled "Bleu De France." I've been searching the Web high and low for any information about this long discontinued perfume. The bottle in my wife's collection is nearly empty, and I've not been able to find another example like it.

Re: Blue De France Perfume By Bernard Lalande
I have been looking for Bleu De France for years and getting "must be rotgut" stares from perfume salespeople. I just found my ancient tiny bottle, still stoppered in glass, in my closet. What a fabulous fragrance! No wonder we are searching for it, and why ever was it discontinued?? Anyone who can find a supply, or anyone who has the license or permission to produce, please contact us. Thanks and cheers, Windy

I found a bottle of Bleu De France by Bernard Lalande today in a thrift shop. It smells fresh and cannot be too old. I was wearing another fragrance and haven't tried it yet. Hope I like it as much as you seekers.

Re: Blue De France Perfume By Bernard Lalande
Bleu de France Perfume by Bernard Lalande was only available for purchase at the Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris. When I traveled there, my hotel was on Rue St. Honore (where all the Paris Fashion Houses were) and Lalande could only be purchased at the Airport. It was very expensive. In 1984 it was $90 US Dollars - and ten years later it was $150 US Dollars. Cannot get anywhere but the airport. Sorry.

I just happen to have a bottle. My father brought me back a bottle from Paris. I have never used it. The outer box is a little worn but the bottle is fine.

Re: Blue De France Perfume By Bernard Lalande
I saw these posts re finding BDF perfume at CDG . I too had been searching for YEARS since buying it myself in 1987 at CDG Duty Free. I recently - Sept '09- had a friend going to Paris on AA, returning out of CDG. I asked her to buy me some. She searched the Duty Free, to no avail. Staff had never even heard of it. Has it been discontinued totally?

I'm not surprised at anyone that holds on to a bottle of the Lalande products. I've been trying to get a replacement of Bleu De France pour homme for some years now but to no avail.I bought a bottle at at Charles de Gaulle in Paris in the 80's.
Seems that the trick is to get you to return to Paris knowing that one won't just return for the colonge. (Tricky, hah).Any new developments please notify me; Please, Please.

I have been hunting for Bleu de France for over 20 years. It was only available from Terminal 2 at Charles de Gaulle but when Alders of Croydon bought the retail franchise they de-listed it. We believe Bernard Lalande stopped making it then. Does anyone know what the receipe is - perhaps if we can find out what the base, mid and top notes of the perfume were we could research getting it made again. I'm so pleased that I'm not the only person who loved this perfume. Sara

I, too, am wanting to find and buy "Bleu de France" perfume by Bernard Lalande. The last time I got it was many years ago at the deGaule airport in France in a duty-free store. If I could find it today, I would be thrilled.

I just happened on this board, and also am a lover of Bleu de France. My husband used to buy it for me at CDG when he went to Europe on business. It is not even sold at the airport anymore---we have tried. If anyone ever sees that it has come back, please post here! Nothing else smells anything like it, and my husband and kids think of it as "my" fragrance.

This is amazing! I just cleaned out my study and noticed I Had a name of a perfume that my wife and I got while in Charles d' Gaul airport and tried for years to find this and couldn't. Since there are so many of us that loved this I can't imagine there is no one that can get the ingredients and make it. Is this developer deceased and or what about his company or production team. Has anybodY found anything close to this----- fragrance wise-----for both men and women as I would love to know what everybodys favorite cologne is of those of you that liked bleau de France

Oh my God I have been searching for this fragrance for years It could only be bought at CDG Airport and I bought tons of itn- Lalande is not a fancy-spancy franrance name in Paris that's why no one there knows about it and CGD does nit sell it anymore - why doesn't someone make it for us?? Best I ever worn

Re: Blue De France Perfume By Bernard Lalande
BDF went out of production about1989. The ONLY place to get it these days is on ebay. Any you buy will be 20+ years old. I bought a large bottle on ebay for $130 several months ago. Heavy Alcohol, but when it evaporates, THAT fragrance is still there. I wonder if we would get someone to reproduce it? I would be will to donate a little to match to match the fragrance.
