Old Lanvin Perfume
I would like to find an old Lanvin perfume that I wore in the late '40s & early '50s. Its' main scent was of geraniums. I can't remember the name of it, but it was very long lasting & unique. Can anyone help me find it or give me the name?

I have "Spanish Geramium" by Eau De Lanvin in original cellophane sealed box from that period. I bought a hope chest which had lots of unopened perfumes in it. Is that what you are looking for?

No, that wasn't the name of it. I remember it had a single word name. Thanks for thinking of me tho.

I think perhaps the Lanvin geranium perfume that I was looking for must have been Spanish Geranium, altho I had originally thought it was a single word name. Since the general consensus seems to be that perfume life is 3 to 5 yrs., & this perfume has not been made for about 45 yrs., I am very hesitant to purchase some of the 'vintage' bottles I've seen on eBay & elsewhere. Thanks to all of you for your help & suggestions.

Was it My Sin? I loved that perfume and wore it in the early 70s. Wish I could still get it.

Janel---do you know if Lanvin's Pretexte is still available anywhere? My mother wore it for many years beginning in the 1940's.
