R.H. MYSTIC MUSK OIL
Oh, the nice memories I have re: the use of this oil. Strangers used to ask me what it was even though I could not smell it on myself at all.
I'm so happy I found this message board and to know that others appreciated this oil as much as I did.
PLEASE contact me (eswalker@ix.netcom.com) if anyone ever discovers where I can purchase it, or something VERY similar, again.

Lastly, it hurt me so much when I could no longer find it as there was no prior notice given. Also, I had just bought many bottles and gave them away as gifts. I had not purchased any extra bottles for myself as I thought that I would always be able to find it. This oil is the fourth product that I fell in love with and discovered that it was suddenly withdrawn.

Yes, RH Mystic Musk Oil was/is the PINNACLE of all the other Musks Oils combined - NOTHING has been able to overtake it, Then and Now.
A few months ago, a Friend told me that there was a bottle for Sale on eBay, and I missed it. The 2nd time a Sale on eBay came around, since People obviously read these Blogs, the Price for less than 1/4th of an ounce went up EXPONENTIALLY - it sold for almost $150!!!!
Normally, I would have leapt at the chance to buy it - but alas, the Seller was sketchy in the description of whether the Musk Oil had kept it's 'scent' or had it deterioated, which is possible, given the fact that it's not been manufactured since the late '70s/early 80s, so I didn't want to take a chance, and again it eluded me.
This Musk Oil was EXCEEDINGLY SUBLIME - and there is NOTHING out there that comes even close.
I'm so glad that there are others who have experienced
RH Mystic Musk - it was Strange, Haunting, Mysterious, Bewitching, and Sensual without being overpowering -
A Paradox....Just way BEYOND GORGEOUS.
I still keep an eye out for it. Wish they would manufacture it again.
The Company that made it, changed hands a few times, and for some strange reason, RH Mystic Musk was discontinued.
When you consider how many TRULY GREAT and UTTERLY SUBLIME FRAGRANCES have been discontinued, you wonder
Where the mind is for these Business People.
They could make a fortune and still sell a moderately priced Scent that everyone could afford, and would keep buying...but GREED seems to set in...Alas!
