GEMINESS
I too want to find Geminess, I bought it for my wife in the '70's
And it sent me to the moon, I believe it was made by Max Factor out of New York. I contacted the maker and they said there was not enough interest in the perfume so it went out of production, something I can't believe. That's when all these "designer" scents came in. Some were so "putrid", yuk.
If anyone has a line on Geminess please let me know. I asked to buy the formula from Max, but they could not locate it.

It's expensive as it's so very hard to find. $100.00 per 1 oz btl. Cologne.

I have tried to find Geminesse for 20+years. Boots Drug Stores in England/UK used to sell it up untill about 12 years ago.
I have kept an empty bottle on my dresser since 1979, lost it in Katrina.
Am currently trying to locate Geminess in Europe.

| Yes just checked Vintage Fragrance and its about £43, I think you could buy 4 bottles for that years ago! Does anybody know of anywhere any cheaper? |

I was in a shop the other day and a lady walked by and I remembered the days of my youth I was transported back to the 70s.
I am sure it was Geminess I decided to try and locate via the net and very disappointed to see that you canot buy;
I wish I had asked her where she got.
If you manage to locate please please let me know and visa versa.

| I found some a few years ago on eBay but it just did not smell that good, it was old and well mostly alcohol. I did talk to Max Factor and it's been out of production since the 80's and anything on the market today is a knock off unless they are selling vintage unopened bottles. Make sure if you buy you can return it because the scent is not the strong ... |

Iam in the same boat as you and I am having difficulty in finding some one who could supply this wonderful perfume. All the perfumes produced today smell the same and cost treble what their worth!
If I hear anything I will let you know.

| I totally agree. I cannot believe that there wasnt enough interest in it. I always used to get loads of compliments when i wore it 25 years ago! ive never smelt anything like it since. |

| I have signed the petition today. I have been looking for ages for Geminesse -the last bottle I bought was down the Falkland Islands!! I cannot believe the price they are selling it at Nell Butler - its outrageous considering it used to be in the same kind of price bracket as Charlie & Panache!! |

| I know. Ive suggested to max factor that they do a pilot re-launch as a soft market test to see if there is enough interest. Ive tried to convince them to go down the retro line. Its worth a try! im sceptical about the bottles that are still around because of the nature of perfume and the fact it can go 'off'. |

| I have 5 bottles I purchased at varying times on eBay for not a lot at the time - I love the stuff so much!!!! Sad thing is I very rarely wear it as I am afraid I will use it all up! All the bottles still smell wonderful having been kept in the boxes in a drawer and so do I when I wear it judging by the compliments I get from the gents .... And the ladies too! I first bought it in 1975 aged 16 it was about £12 a bottle then .... |
