I believe the 70's musk perfume was made by "Coty" - I am not sure if you are able to get this still, but you could do a bit of research on the net.

All i remember is that one comes in a white round bottle and is called Mayda and the other comes in a purpleish round bottle and is called Extremisse. I think the names are close. | I am trying to find an Impuse spray which was out in the 80's. It was in a metalic blue colour tin with coloured flowers over it. I think it was called something like Jueness or Tenesse. I can't even get a straight answer from Impulse themselves about it so I don't think there is much chance of finding it but it is worth a try. |

Re the Gingham fragrance, I think they changed the name to either Canoe or Ambush..and yes I know the smell of that stuff, it was lovely wasnt it!
(just doing some research on Dana items myself and am in the process of asking a friend of mine who used to work in a chemist in the late 60's ...and before she can reply to me, it came to me!)

You are talking about Evening in Paris made by Bourjois. It was a big hit in the 50's, along with the fragrance Blue Waltz.
It is still made by Bourjois but has been renamed to Soir a Paris, which is French for Evening in Paris. I have Soir a Paris. If you would like one, let me know at cosmeticking@hotpop.com.

The Original Heaven Sent, by Helena Rubenstein, smelled Wonderful !! Rubenstein hasn't made it for years. Other companies, ( Dana, & Mem, ) have made it since & it is a very watered down, cheap smelling version, that is an insult to the original. The original is hard to come by. Sometimes it shows up on ebay. Sometimes it can be found at: www.thefragrancefactory.com Be careful there & make sure it's Rubensteins, as they carry Dana & Mem versions too. And here's a site I really like to go to, to look for Discontinued Perfumes. Www.auntjudysattic.com/ Click on the "Rare & Discontinued Perfume " section. She has pages of perfumes from the past, originals. If you don't find it at first, keep checking back, as she gets things in all the time.
Hope you get lucky & find it. It w/cost now no matter where you get it though.

| I really need someones expertise on this one!!! I'm looking for 'Verve' I'm not sure who made it...it was kinda on the low cost side. It came in about 3 or 4 different scents. I am looking for satans instinct witch is also in name of Devils instinct I suppose. Made by Yves saint Lauren? could be another manufacturer too. But this is the fume that I must find somehow. | Hi, I am looking for a perfume, but I do not have the name. I only remember that it had a rectangular(tall, not wide) clear bottle, with a very understated, slightly slanted metalic cap. It had the name of a designer. Like Gianni Versace or Jean Gaultier or Ralph Lauren,... . I only remember thinking that I should remember the name because it was "just" the designers first and last name. I have looked on ebay on a regular basis to try to find a similar bottle, and have had no luck. |

Am looking for Scoundrel perfume.
I bought from ebay and was wholley disappointed. The perfumes were atomizers for the purse and were metal. The scent had gone rancid.

| There was the most fabulous fragrance around 1965-67, called Promesse, I believe it was by Prince Matchabelli. A fragrance sample was in one of the leading magazines at the time, and it made the whole magazine smell just glorious! It's just too wonderful to describe, all I can say is that, you had to have it!! I'd just LOVE to be able to buy it again. Any chance you could get a hold of some? |

Altman's featured this in a full page ad with a wonderful story on the origin of the name( from Greek mythology) i still have the NY times ad!

Hi every one! I think this is the parfume I've been looking for, for the past several years. My grandma use to wear it in the 70's. I kinda remember the bottle. Can any one please discribe the sent to the best of your knowledge? The one my grandma use to wear smelled like a soft aroma a bouquet of jasmines and kinda powdery, it was a very nice soft youthful floral sent. I can still smell her perfume. She passed on 15 yrs ago. I regret never asking her the last time she came to visit us here, in CA from Tx. If this can help you, the scent of her perfume almost smells like California jasmine Desert scent. It's an air freshener, but it smells really good! To bad it's a room spray freshener. I love that scent!!!! They sell it at Wal-Mart. Please some one get back to me, ASAP Thanks!

I too had searched for it for several years before finally finding it again. It is called "The Original Natural Musk Oil Perfume" made by Cabot Laboratories but now distributed by Cooperlabs Limited out of Calif. (The original was out of Central Islip NY back in the 70's). My grandmother gave us all (granddaughters) some as teenagers in the 70's then we all searched for it after her death. When we all ran out again, we couldn't find it and searched for years before we located the cooperlabs site. It is the best perfume I have ever used! People follow me to my car to find out what I am wearing and men are very attracked to the sensual smell of it. Here is a link:

I am looking for the Mans Perfume From the Parfums Kesling Co. In Paris. They use to make one Called "BE BOP" Its very good and the smell is very sweet. | I cant remember the names or who they are made by, that's what I'm trying to find out. There are 3 varieties of this perfume, 1 pink 1 purple and 1 aqua-blue colored bottles that are short and round and they come in a box that matches the color of the bottle inside but it is see thru (transparent yet colored) and they used to sell them at walmart for $14 and at walgreens and target. I looked up coty and calgon products and unless these perfumes are discontinued they are not coty or calgon. They may just be discontinued cuz I went on walmart.com and found nothing. If you can remember the name or who made them or if you remember them at all much appreciated |

| I am looking for a roll-on perfume that I bought at Hot Topic in 2005. There is no company name on the label all it says is "Patchouli Spice Oil Blend". It is a 5ml/.16 fl oz clear bottle with a black cap. The label is a burgandy/purplish color with green plant drawings and a black middle-east looking drawing. The letters are in green. | I've always used west cabot musk oil, about 25 years, then the company in islin new york, merged with cooper labs in california and when i ordered it then, the formula had changed, it was different. I kew right away plus i still have an old bottle to compare with. It is fairly close but the new formula is sweeter and does not last as long. The Musk Oil from the 1970s you are looking for is no longer made by West-Cabot. It is now called Cabot Oiriginal Natural Musk Oil and is made by Cooper Labs.

By the way, the original West-Cabot Original Musk Oil really did have TRUE Musk, and it WAS sublime. Today's version, is just a very diluted version of that GREAT Musk of the 1970s

I love this perfume called LiLu and you could buy it at pacific sunwear. I know they've discontinued it. Looked it up on e-bay and people want you to pay an arm and a leg for it now. | I'm looking for a perfume that I got from Perfumania back in like 2005 but when I went back to get some more when I was out they had no clue what I was talking about. I don't remember the name exactly. The bottle was a dark purple with a pink lid. Both the bottle and the lid were shaped like a heart if you looked over the top of it. | I have been looking everywhere for 2 different perfumes that Hot Topic used to sell. I have had little luck finding them, but they have always been overpriced. One is call Black Heart and came in an hourglass shaped bottle with a corset around it and was a dark purple liquid. The other is called Stormy Heart and it is a blue liquid with glitter in it. |

I need to find a perfume from hot topic. It was Barbie Perfume Spray. They no longer have it in hot topic or anywhere that i can find. It comes in a blue box with stars and unicorns and a picture of barbies head. Its 3.4oz. The bottle itself appears pink but when used, the bottle is actually clear, with a sticker behind the bottle with the stars and unicorns on it. It has a gold spray nossle, and is square like in shape. If you could help me find this, it would be amazing. I already left them a message on fragrancefactory. Because they did not have it either.

I used an Armani Eau de Toilette the early 1980's; it came in a black bottle with the most wonderful fragrance; gorgeous for night-time. Can just NOT find it; would you be able to help with this one ?????

| I'm going a bit mad trying to remember the name and make of a fragrance from the late 70's or early 80's. It was a purse sized bottle (plastic I believe) in the shape of a lipstick. It had a domed cap with a wand attached. The liquid was green, and they cap was either green or white. The fragrance was divine! My memory comes up with names like "Colonial Herbal Garden" or "Secret Garden", but I can't find anything like that. I'm hoping this rings a bell to someone! |

| When I was a teen in the early 90's I think the first time I found the perfume it was like in the late 80's, I first found it at Kmart, and it was on display, it was in this purple bottle, not a clear purple bottle kinda like the Elizabeth Taylor poison bottle color, except that the bottle was like rectangular and in a twisted shape. It had like a turquoise or blue greenish colored top and the top of that was hot pink and the name of the perfume was on the side of the top and in hot pink as well, it had like a sweet fruity smell with like a floral accent. I doubt they make this fragrance anymore, and if they do, they modernized the bottle and changed it drastically. Can you help me find this? |

I can't find it anymore but it was in a clear flat, round bottle with a pink lid and the perfume itself with a turquoise colour. I can't remember the name though! | I'm searching for a perfume that was discontinued around 1997. I cannot recall the name, though I believe it began with an "S" or "C". It was of a war, soft inviting note. The bottle was of an amber-red tint with maybe some gold in the cap? I think I remember more of a teardrop shape bottle. My friend wore it and she was Italian so it may be of the Italian decent. |

Calvin Klein did not sell fragrance in the 1970s. Calvin Cologne for Men was released in 1981; Obsession in 1985; Eternity in 1988; Escape in 1991; and CK One and CK Be Perfume in 1994. Truth, Obsession Night, and Euphoria Perfume were released in 2005. Euphoria Blossom Perfume was released in 2006. |

Perhaps you are looking for Watkins Vanilla Cologne? That is no longer sold. However, Watkins lists a Vanilla Dry Oil Body Mist and a Natural Vanilla Body Cream, along with Natural Lavender Lotion, and Natural Lemon Cream Lotion. One of these might be the scent you seek.

I have looked high and low for ULTA II sheer scent,
The round black bottles are about gone forever unless
U want ot pay 200 $$$, so I decided to buy the body lotions and shower gels from www.thefragrancefactory.com and
They smell wonderful, and at least I have my scent back.
This is my only fragrance, and as soon as I get paid again Im
Purchasing more lotions and shower gels before they are gone forever also.

Michelle, the original Ambergrise by Houbigant was discontinued in the 1970s when the ingredient "ambergris" (a whale byproduct) became prohibited by law. Houbigant went bankrupt in the 1990s, and sold the rights to its fragrances to other companies. Often the scents are changed when companies change.

Back in 2007 I was given a bottle of perfume for Christmas that was simply called Barbie. It was purchased from a Hot Topic in Elizabeth Town, Kentucky. It's square-ish but curves at the top. It has a silhouette of Barbie and her trademark name under it with a small 'tm'. In the back of the bottle is a sticker that shows through the glass and had stars and a unicorn on it, in the bottom right corner has the Trademark information and ingredients.
I've been striving to find this for so long, it smells to good and has a lot of memories to me. Reguardless of the brand, the scent of Cotton candy, gummy beard, and sugar is what draws me to it.
Please, it would mean so much to me if I could find it. |

There is an old perfume called 'Laughter' by Tuvade, one called 'Mystic' by Marilyn Miglin and 'Luna Mystique' by Prince Matchabelli.

'Moon Drops' was by Revon, 'Blue Jeans' by Versace, and 'Interlude' by Frances Denney.

Back in 2007 I was given a bottle of perfume for Christmas that was simply called Barbie. It was purchased from a Hot Topic in Elizabeth Town, Kentucky. It's square-ish but curves at the top. It has a silhouette of Barbie and her trademark name under it with a small 'tm'. In the back of the bottle is a sticker that shows through the glass and had stars and a unicorn on it, in the bottom right corner has the Trademark information and ingredients.
I've been striving to find this for so long, it smells to good and has a lot of memories to me. Reguardless of the brand, the scent of Cotton candy, gummy beard, and sugar is what draws me to it.
Please, it would mean so much to me if I could find it.

Cara, sounds like your bottle was mimicking an orange or a lemon. You did not give a timeframe for your high school years.
Many perfumiers have named one of their fragrances 'Fresh', including Jovan, Stetson, Dunhill, Adidas, Versace, and so on. One stands out for a school girl, however, and that being the Love's line by MEM, later acquired by Dana. All of these makers have had more than one bottle design.

Coty made a similar styled bottle for 'Jovan Musk' spray that really did have an orange cap.

Cara, I have to admit that I don't know how to search for the variety of bath and body products sold by Walmart that might be what you are looking for. Your description did not fit one of the modern bottles of perfumes and colognes called "Fresh" by name-brand makers that are sold in stores and on the internet.

Amy did you read this Hey guys! I just want to advise anyone NOT to buy lilu on ebay. I was actually one of those dummies who did pay 90 dollars for a bottle! But for some reason, it did not even smell the same. It was almost as if it was watered down or something was added to it. I didn't even keep it that's how different it smelled and this is my all time favorite perfume i am so mad because there is NOTHING else like it!!! Some of you may have had an okay experience with ebay (maybe it was the seller that was the problem), but I just want to let some of you know!!

Hello, I'm looking for a perfume I bought from hot topic years ago. I forgot the name, and the sticker with the name manufacturer and size fell off somewhere, so you see my problem.
It's a red rectangular bottle, black fishnet covering and came with the old fashioned atomizers (which was black). It might have been called Morbid, but I'm no where near sure.
I feel in love with this fragrance, If someone could at least give me the name and house I would be eternally grateful! Thank you for your time. |

Tommy Girl Summer, limited edition 2006
They sell a summer cologne every year and they are all different, 2006 is the only one I want.
The bottle is transparent, mostly pink, fades to light yellow at the top and has 3 starfishes on it.
Every where I look I find 2002, 2005, 2007, 2008, and so on, but NEVER 2006, fragrance factory does not have it, no online retailer has it, not even ebay. Does anyone have one for sale, 2006 edition only? |

| My aunt gave me a cologne before, it was place in a bottle spray container and its content is somehow light pink like your background...it smelled light, it doesnt last long, but i loved its smell...smells like baby...i forgot the exact name of that perfume...but i guess it has angel in its brand name...my aunt is from switzerland,she actually bought it there and sent it here in the philippines...please help me find the name of this cologne or perfume..thanks a lot! |

| I am looking for a men's cologne for my husband. I believe it was made a long time ago and I cannot find any information on it. The bottle has two E's on it in black bold print, one is backwards. The only other words on the bottle are printed at the bottom and it says Apres Resage. If anyone knows the name of this cologne it would be greatly appreciated as he is running low and cannot wear it often because we can't find a replacement. |

| In the late 90's I had an Amway fragrance that was light in color and in a clear glass rectangle bottle. It had a clean scent which wasn't overpowering. I called Amway and the gal thought it might be Anticipate. I looked at it on line and it has a pink cast so I don't think that is it. Any ideas? |

I have been looking for over 20 years for love musk by jordache. I used to find it at walmart only at Christmas time. Recently it is popping up on e-bay. Do you know if it is being manufactured again and why i can't find it anywhere except e-bay?

Hi, I am looking for a perfume made by hot topic maybe 6 - 7 years ago? It's called Tempting, it's red in color and there are cherries on the bottle. The sticker on the bottom says '50 ml cologne spray Rega, Inc., Dist. Bensenville, IL 60106"
