Bring Back Frankincense & Mirth For Women
Jovan Perfume Company
Dear Sirs:
Many years ago I purchased and wore a perfume by Jovan called Frakincense & Mirth for women it was the best ever and I have not worn another perfume since they quit making it. I have talked to many other women who also would like them to bring it back. I would pay the money to be able to have that fragrance again --- it was beyond great and it did not adversely effect my sinuses as so many others do. The fragrance was great but I think many people just would not try it because of the name. Please bring it back and call it something else and I know you would make your money on that fragrance don't change a thing with the fragrance just modify the name for better sales.

| Hello Ladies, Now is the time go to ipetitions.com and search, Bring Back Frankincents and Myrrh Perfune for Women by Coty and sign the petition. I also, emailed the coty perfume company at, TalkToUs@Cotyinc.com and pleaded with them to bring it back. So, if you email them maybe they will start to understand that we cannot go on any longer without that intoxicating perfect fragrance. They are idle on such a money maker! |

I still have the original box and bottle that it came in. I had the Net Wt. 2.0z bottle. I didn't have to use a lot and I have gotten such wonderful compliments on it's fragrance. I would really love to have some more.Do not change the formular. Cologne spray mist. Contains SD Alcohol 39-C Propellant 12/114, FRANKINCENSE AND MYRRH PERFUME,COLOR. This is off the box. |

| I too loved the fragrance. I always, always got compliments when wearing it. Although I wear the white musk now and people still notice my scent, I would love to have the frankincense and myrrh back, it was so fresh and unique. |

| I totally agree -- I got more compliments on that particular perfume more than any other, except for lotion. I loved that perfume -- they do need to rename it or something -- it was the best. I used it up, and then I found they discontinued it, I was so upset. It wasn't too sweet, but they made it perfect. Myrrh by itself smells like soap -- it is the Frankincense that makes it sweet -- but the recipe Jovan used was just right. Bring it back! Where's the petition? Sign me up! |

I completely agree. Frankincense & Myrrh was my signature fragrance (and I guess, a lot of other people's too, LOL)...

I have emailed those people to send me an order form for snail mail and they won't even email me back or anything. | I agree (it is spelled Myrrh)!!! Bring it back!!!!!!!! If you do, it will definitely sell!!! It was also my signature fragrance in high school and many times I had to give the last little bit left in the bottle to my friends because they didn't have any allowance to buy their own. I loved it and really want it back!!! |

| This was the greatest perfume ever put out. I got soooo many compliments about it. Pleazzzzzz bring it and call it Glory. I think it would sell like hotcakes as we say it in the south. I will buy it and I will promote its sales for you. It was a big mistake to have ever stopped production of this cologne. |

No one has a sample left anymore and besides Coty has a patten on it. This is why we need Coty to bring it back and this is why everyone needs to email Cotyinc.com and hound them until they bring it back. I have... But, I am only one person. | LOL! Okay, they may have a patent on that specific recipe, but I can make something that is 99% the same. I'm working on a perfume for the fabulous Taylor Dayne at this moment. | I wouldn't buy it on ebay, unless you want it for nostalgia ... But not to wear. I LOVED it also in the 70's. A few years after it was discontinued, I was in a pharmacy (in St. Louis, MO.). I noticed a few boxes behind the counter, high up on the shelf. I mentioned them to the pharmacist. She said she had a few more too. She dusted them off and I bought them all. I was thrilled. Unfortunately, they didn't last long. The consistency became very thick, the color became darker and they lost all of their fragrance/notes. Please let me know if anyone finds anything current with similar noted. Thanks! |

I was given that perfume by my mother in the seventies.
It was great! That's how I got on this sight...trying to find it.
I see some perfumes advertized with the same name but I don't want to buy it and it not be the same.

That is a good question Angela and here is the answer the Coty company gave me --- "it has been discontinued". Those of us old enough to remember that gorgeous fragrance what it back. Everyone needs to personally contact Coty. They have such a good thing in that scent I can not understand why they are not all over it. As you read by Ava she posted the Coty email of consumer affairs departmemt. Send your question to them and let them know we are still here and still want it back.

| Just used a hand soap by Softsoap Vanilla Brown Sugar. The scent brought me back to the mid 70's and Jovan Frankincense and Myhrr. Loved it and have been wearing essential oils ever since. Bring it back!! The roll-on was great. No spray pls. |

I really do not know if they opened this site and have read your comments? I hardly think so! However, Sybrina Blissett Product Care Specialist Coty Inc. Consumer Affair gave a 1-800-715-4023 number for all those who wish to give comment to her on bring Frankincense and Myrrh back that she may know the "consumer feedback" because that is the only way they consider bringing a discontinued item back is by consumer demand. There was an old house in my neighborhood getting cleaned out (to be sold) after the owner died. I saved a few things from going in the dumpster, including a 2 oz bottle of 1974 Frank & Myrhh.
