Jovan Andron For Women
| Wow - didn't realize so many people were looking for this! Has anyone tried to contact Jovan and ask them to bring it back? This was my favorite perfume too and I dropped my bottle on the cement on my wedding day - I haven't been able to find any since - that was in 1985. I really wish someone would bring it back. |

| Actually I did contact Jovan, Andron was my favorite perfume. Jovan had lots of inquires to include mine. They said that "houbigant" was the owner of the fragrance. Jovan didn't know if it was still being made overseas, but thought that you may still be able to purchase it in europe. They weren't sure if it was even still under the name Andron. It has been about two years since I spoke to anyone at Jovan. They know that women want this fragrance back. If you try finding it on line, the price is ridiculous. I have found it on ebay and elsewhere, but as much as I love the perfume, I couldn't justify the price being asked. Paying $10.00 a bottle for it back in the 80's and now seeing it on line from $80. On up is a gouge in the price to me. Happy hunting...who knows if enough people contact houbigant and jovan maybe they will bring it back. |

I bought the 5 bottles on ebay...I have been looking for this scent since I used my last of 12 bottles I bought at a drug store foeclosure sale. That was in 1988.
I contacted the JOVAN company several times to try to buy old stock or ask for any other information about the scent, but they were not interested in helping me at all. They just said that it was discontinued and had no other info to give me. |

As i posted earlier this is pure perfume not the cologne spray the scent last longer. Has anyone tried scentmatchers.com to recreate Andron by Jovan for women? For $60 they claim to be able to make a large bottle with subsequent bottles at a lesser cost. If anyone has experience with either this company making this scent or another scent, please let me know.

| I LOVED LOVED LOVED!! this perfume!! When I lived in the Caribbean islands it was a hot (pardin the pun!) perfume. I noticed I got a lot of attention when I wore this perfume. I have searched for this for years to the point where I actually forgot the name thats how many years Ive been looking for this perfume!!! BRING IT BACK PLEASEEE!!! |

Got a reply from Coty, who now owns Jovan. Andron is out of production, out of stock, and is not scheduled to return.

When my mom was alive, she had written to Jovan and asked if she could buy Andron by mail order. They responded that although it was currently out of mass production, they could sell her some BUT there was a minimum order (maybe 4 bottles??).
Maybe Coty will still do that... Worth dropping them an email... |

| Scentmatchers is a joke! Try them, if you want to lose your money. It's a joke! For 60 bucks or so, they will send you something out of the 99 cent store. Actually, fragrances from 99 cent store smell better than what I got from Scentmatchers. They sent me something like yellow water and said it was a replica of Andron by Jovan. Too funny!!!! |
