Hello, all "Babe" fans. I contacted Unilever the owner of Faberge brand about bringing "Babe" back. Here is there reply:

Further to your recent email regarding Babe.
I'm sorry to let you know that we currently have no plans to bring back this fragrance, because it was originally discontinued due to low levels of demand.
However, I will certainly pass your comments on to our marketing team for their information.

| I am still so dissapointed that they discontinued Babe cologne and perfume. I never to this day, have smelled anything quite so beautiful and unusual as Babe was. And would have to disagree about Lady Stetson as coming anything close to the scent of Babe. I would love for a Babe comeback from Faberge. Since the email address of Faberge is in the UK, I would assume that some Tea Bag of a man is answering the call of numerous women from the United States. Maybe we should just start bombarding the email address or the Faberge Company requests (or demand) for Babe |

Please bring the original BABE back! I go down the perfume aisles and am sorely disappointed with what they have to offer. If I would have known BABE was being discontinued, I would have bought a gallon!
Babe is not only sexy...but light and fresh at the same time. |

Years ago when I found out they were not going to make "Babe" anymore I went to all the places I could and bought up every bottle I could find. It lasted me about 5 years. It was the best perfume ever. I cannot find any other perfume that even compares to Babe.

I would love if you brought back Babe its my favorite all time perfume. Im sure you would have no trouble selling lots of it. Us older girls can introduce it into the younger generation.

| PLEASE, YOU HAVE GOT TO BRING THIS PURFUME BACK!!! Nothing compares to the MAGNIFICENT fresh CLEAN scent of BABE. I have searched high a low for something that would compare to the scent of BABE, but have failed. Either smells are too sweet, too floral, etc....etc. The last place I found BABE was at a swap meet years ago and have not seen it since. I purchased everything they had. I use them very very sparingly, if at all, to avoid running out. PLEASE bring back that CLASSIC scent of BABE.... Please...please. |

| Nearly two years after your post, I also emailed them to see if we could get them to restart production of Babe. Got the same kind of reply and no committment of any kind. Really too bad. But with Ebay and Fragrance Factory, at least it's available though very expensive. Happy holidays. |

They have thousands of items and you can find what you want there for very good prices. I only shop there now since the prices are the best ive seen, good customer service too.

I bought a bottle of Babe cologne from TimelessPerfumes.com, and when I got it, it was awful! It didn't even smell anything like the original. Buyer beware.
I sent it back, but as of today haven't heard anything yet on a refund. I'm very skeptical about ever finding the original babe cologne. Good luck to all in finding some. |

| Babe was a perfumed used by my aunt and I loved it. Amazingly she still had a small travel bottle that we found about a month ago. I do not want to use it. I just open the bottle every now and then to smell the wonderful scent. This perfume should come back to the market. |

| I don't know where they got the idea that Babe was low in demand. Back in 1977, the stores couldn't keep enough of this cologne on their shelves or in the display cases. Unilever is dead wrong about that. Frankly, it's the one fragrance that match my body chemistry perfectly. |

Faberge shampoos & conditioners that Farrah Fawcett showed
Us beautiful hair has to come back. Not models that look like sticks. I just pray you bring back the Babe fragrance pretty please!

Absolutely bring this cologne back!
There was never a fragrance that made men and women so happy as 'BABE'.
Our last baby-boom generation has so much meaning to the world, and will never go away. Everyone profits from this smell of smells, so I honestly don't think that monetary issues will be much of a issue for those concerned! |

| I, too, have looked high and low for this. They say that scent is the sense linked most closely to memory. I believe that. The sweet scent of "Babe" reminds me of a long-ago love; won, lost, won, and lost again for all time. A few years ago, an employee of mine passed by. She was wearing "Babe" and the scent froze me in my tracks, and the memories of those precious days lingered for many hours. I asked her where she got it, and she replied, "From my Mom, but it's nearly gone now."...Yeah!...Bring "Babe" back. I'd buy a supply, find her once more and give it to her...With the stipulation that she'd wear it for me..Just one more time........ |

I used the Babe Cologne (Body Splash) while I was in College
I can still smell the refreshing scent and still remember the orange bottle with the brown letters
I would certainly buy it for the rest of my life if its again in the market. |

Beware The Ebay Seller
I decided to take the plunge and order this from ebay. I am so sorry. I ordered on Dec 19 and I still have nothing. Seller claims to have shipped twice and neither order has arrived. I was asked if I provided the correct address. The post office never shows receiving either package. So now its the post office and my fault. Save your money and go with, "the fragrance factory" if at all possible..Its pricey but I believe it will be less hassle. Someone else on this board probably dealt with the same ebay seller from the sounds of it. I would forget all about ebay for acquiring this fragrance. It has cost me more than 145.00 in stress and aggravation trying to get this from ebay.

I just received and read a message in the above link that the Babe Cologne by Faberge was discontinued due of lack of demand?????? May I ask who told you that blatant lie??????? One thing I know for sure -- it wasn't the sales receipts. When the fragrance was sold in our stores here in Los Angeles, California, they were always running out of it. The department stores mail order departments were always telling us that this fragrance was out of stock is was being back ordered. When they did obtain more of it, we had to buy as bottles at a time as we could afford because if you didn't, you may not get anymore for a long, long time.
As you can see from the messages in this link, many of us want Babe back. Since the customer is always right (and regarding Babe we truly are), would you please start producing and selling this fragrance again? If not, sell me the potion information. Trust me -- I'll show you that this fragrance is in B-I-G demand.

Please, Please, Please, bring back Babe!! What in the world are those at "Faberge" waiting for????? I have never in my life received so many compliments and pleasant reactions from both men and women, whenever I wore Babe cologne. It was like wearing a natural phermone. What a clean, sexy female scent.
I don't think I've ever been so dissapointed in a company before, like I have been with Faberge. With some of their other scents that they still bother to manufacture (yuck) and smell like they were designed for prostitutes, you'd think that they'd get it by now . . . |

I can't believe there are more people in this world, besides myself, that have been looking for Babe purfume for years!! I thought I was just stuck in the past! I loved the stuff growing up and can literally still remember what it smells like. It was my favorite scent. Very comforting and reminds me of my childhood. Soooo wish I could find it again. Someone must have an old bottle lying around somewhere!! HaHa

| I like Babe too - I buy the Babe perfume oil and it smells just like Babe. You may want to try that:) I usually buy 1-4 oz's at a time. Hope that helps!! |
