Introduced in 1990 by Parfums Gres, Paris, almost 30 years after the original note to complete its floral fragrance. Cultivated in a greenhouse as a labor of love by a single researcher, this spicy floral was distilled using the living flower technique. Cabotine's top note mixes mandarin, orange flower and ylang-ylang, spiced with ginger. An unusual element, at Cabotine's heart is the ginger lily, a rare bloom original from the Himalayas used in fragrance for first time! It is supported by tuberose, blue bell, and iris. The dry down contains sandalwood, Tibetan musk, and black currant. Cabotine has a youthful, spring-flowers look to its outer packaging and is a fragrance now proven to be different, feminine and destined to be a future classic.
